‘The Company’ refers to Kin Caravans. ‘The Hirer’ refers to the person responsible for booking the caravan.
Caravan Delivery & Collection
Hire usually starts upon delivery at 4:00 PM and ends on the agreed hire end date at 11:00 AM on collection. Early/Late delivery/collection may be available subject to availability.
Fixed delivery cost is quoted by Tiers and is approximated by road distance at our discretion from our depot location, near Louth Lincolnshire.
Any changes to delivery/collection address, and subsequent changes in delivery charges will need to be pre-agreed by us - or risk a cancellation of your hire
Payment Terms
A £300 deposit is due at the time of booking. This serves as a reservation and damage deposit. The balance of hire, delivery, and optional extras is payable 28 days before the hire start date. Payment can be made via Stripe or bank transfer. Late or non-payment may result in cancellation.
Insurance
All Kin Caravans vehicles are comprehensively insured. The Hirer is responsible for the first £300 of any insurance excess or repair costs. Damage to the vehicle, including windows, tyres, rooflights, or fixtures, is chargeable. Personal belongings are not covered by Kin Caravans insurance.
Deposit Refunds
A security deposit of £300 will be taken at the time of booking. Security deposits are fully refundable if the caravan, and any hired extras, are returned in the same condition it was hired.
Refunds will not be returned in full if any of the following occur;
- Waste / toilet tank not emptied prior to collection.
- One or both gas cannisters not returned.
- Damage to the exterior or interior of the caravan (that was not included in the pre inspection check list signed by the hirer on collection).
- Hired extra accessories & inventory items are missing or damaged.
No Smoking Policy
It is illegal to smoke, or permit smoking, in any hire caravan. If a caravan is returned showing signs of smoking, the full deposit will be withheld.
Breakdowns & Faults
Kin Caravans ensures all caravans are safe and worthy prior to hire. Hirers must report faults, damage or loss immediately to 07738912697 for us to respond appropriately. We are not liable for alternative accommodation costs in the event of breakdown or faults.
Limitations, Liabilities & Exclusions
The Hirer must not:
1. Sub-hire or lend the caravan. 2. Create any lien over the caravan. 3. Move the caravan. 4. nothing can be stuck to, or attached to any part of the caravan or awning, inside or out. 5.
Kin Caravans reserves the right to: 1. Amend hire rates and terms before written confirmation. 2. Substitute caravan or cancel hire in the event of: a) A previously hired caravan being returned damaged; b) Late return. 3. Refuse caravan hire without stating our reasons. 4. Specifications and features of caravan shown on our website may vary due to fleet improvements.
No liability will be accepted for any shortages, or failure of equipment should it occur, or for any loss, accident or injury however caused.
The hirer will be responsible for any uninsured loss, destruction or damage to the caravan including but not limited to negligence or wilful damage.

Hirer Cancellations
If you cancel your booking;
If we re-let the caravan at any time between cancellation notice and hire date, we will refund your hire charges within 14 days of hire commencement date. We strongly recommend hirers take out travel insurance to cover cancellation risks.
If we cancel your booking, for any reason, all payments will be refunded to the original payment details within 5 days of cancellation.
